Our Story
Banah House is a vision the Lord gave me for ministry after He carried me through my own Banah House story.
For years, addiction unraveled and ultimately destroyed my family. I was a mom of three small children, suddenly the sole provider with sole custody — overwhelmed, with a broken spirit and no real plan or hope for my future.
But the Lord carried me through those long years. He healed my husband and ultimately restored our family.
Along the way, I experienced firsthand the major gaps in support for a family, both during a crisis and in the years that follow. There is so much support out there for those struggling with addiction, as there should be. But the need I feel burdened to meet is caring for the moms who are holding everyone and everything together as they navigate the unimaginable.

Why “Banah”?
Banah is the Hebrew word meaning to build and to rebuild. It’s the word Isaiah uses for God’s promise to His people: “They shall rebuild the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities” (Isaiah 61:4). We believe God is still rebuilding lives, families, and hope. Banah House is a place where that work happens.
Our Mission
Banah House exists to walk alongside women and families through seasons of brokenness, helping them rebuild what’s been lost, restore what’s been wounded, and renew hope for the future.
